Dorae Shae

Dorae Shae has always had an active imagination that seemed to find its way to pencil and page. A retired real-estate agent, Dorae Shae lived and worked on farms at Breton, Alberta for over thirty years. Writing always took second seat to her country life and career, and she is excited to now have the time to write full time and bring more stories to life.

While no specific experiences contributed solely to her book of novellas, Restless Secrets, her life history combined to bring the challenges and drama of real life into the world of fiction. ​Dorae published Restless Secrets in 2017, The Spirit of the Autumn Wind in 2019, and Whispering Tree of the Forest in 2020.

She lives with her husband and their Dachshund named Tex in Leduc, Alberta.
